Advice from an Alum: End of College Cope

It’s been almost 4 years since I’ve graduated from UMass and I still miss it everyday. The community I found at UMass Amherst was truly special and if I could go back and do it all over I would in a heart beat.

My best advice to soon-to-be-graduates is to take a deep breathe and don’t worry. Some may be very nervous to leave the UMass community whether they’re on to a new adventure or heading back home. No matter what you do, UMass has prepared you for the challenge ahead. My best advice is to continue having an open mind and never stop meeting new people. There is no limit to how many friends and connections you can make. Go out into the world and bring the spirit of UMass Amherst with you.
