Welcome to the Pathways Center!

Pushing open the heavy doors of Thompson Hall, it can be so easy to feel lost on campus. What am I doing here? Why don’t I love my classes? What clubs should I join? How do I start planning for post-grad? All of these questions rush through our minds as we walk through campus, looking for someone to guide us through the maze that is UMass Amherst.

Look no further than Thompson 128, the home of the SBS Pathways Center. Staffed with peer advising interns and professional advisors, the Pathways Center is a welcoming place to ask any questions about life in SBS and at UMass, learn more about career and extracurricular opportunities, and talk to other UMass students. The peer advisors, especially, are a great resource for all students! We are a group of 12 students in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences with a multitude of experiences navigating and participating in programs at UMass. We all love to work with other students to help choose classes, discuss internship opportunities, and review resumes and cover letters.

Stop by the Pathways Center (Thompson Hall, room 128) Monday through Wednesday between 10:00am-4:00pm  and Thursday/Friday 10:00am-2:00pm to meet with a peer advisor and hang out in the Pathways Center! There’s always something going on in the center, whether it’s a raffle, snacks, coffee, or people to talk to!

We can’t wait to see you there!
