Political Science major Nicholas McCurrach is one of the 100 inaugural Voyager scholarship winners. This scholarship gives college students seeking careers in public service with financial aid to alleviate the burden of college debt, meaningful travel experiences to expand their horizons, and a network of mentors and leaders to support their aspirations.
The Voyager Scholarship was created by Barack and Michelle Obama and Brian Chesky, Airbnb CEO, to develop rising generations of leaders ready to address the needs of a globalized world. Even though they come from different backgrounds, both President Obama and CEO Chesky believe that an increasingly globalized world needs young leaders who can bridge divides and help solve our biggest challenges together.
Congratulations to Nicholas for being one of 100 winners chosen from all across the USA!
