It’s Career Fair Season – are you ready?

Career fairs are one of your best opportunities to speak directly to a recruiter.  Whether you are looking for internships or full-time jobs, this is a chance you don’t want to miss.

Starting in mid-September, the fall UMass career fair season gets underway.

Of particular note to SBS majors are the Isenberg Virtual Career Days, on Sept. 24th and 25th, (Isenberg fairs are open to all majors. Each day features a different lineup of employers, including the top employers of SBS graduates); the Tech Jobs & Internships Fair on Sept. 27th; the Life Sciences & Biotech Career Fair on Oct. 11th, and the Government, Non-Profit & Social Impact career fair on Oct. 29th.

Make sure to have your resume reviewed in the SBS Pathways Center before taking it to the fair and giving it to employers.  Peer Advisors are available in the SBS Pathways Center on a drop-in basis M-W from 10:00am-4:00pm, Thurs from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Fridays from 10:00 – 12:00.  Or you can schedule an appointment with one of your SBS career advisors via Handshake.  We’ll be having Resume Labs on Thursday, 9/19 from 3:00-5:00pm, and Friday, 9/20, from 11:00am-1:00 pm in the SBS Pathways Center, 128 Thompson.  Drop in with your your laptop and a resume draft and get it shined up for the fairs.
