Paid Summer Internships with Project Onramp

You may be eligible for an exciting, paid internship opportunity called Project Onramp 

WHO: SBS students with a Pell Grant in their financial aid package 

WHAT: Project Onramp connects students with competitive paid summer internships at biotech and life sciences companies. Positions are in Marketing & Sales, HR & Recruitment, Operations, Business Strategy, Finance & Accounting, Compliance, DEI & Education, Communications, and many other areas 

WHEN: Applications are open now until January 6th, 2025. Deadlines and interviews for specific companies are on a rolling basis throughout the year. The program will be filled on a first come basis. The sooner you submit your application, the sooner you will have access to internship opportunities.  Internships take place for 8-12 weeks between June-August, 2025 

WHERE: Companies are located in the Boston metro and Worcester areas 

HOW:  

  1. Attend an Info Session (dates below) 
  1. Have your resume reviewed by an SBS Career Advisor or Peer Intern (10am-3:30pm M-W, 11-4 Th & 10-12 Fri in Pathways Center)    
  1. Have a mock interview with an SBS Career Advisor 
  1. Submit an application and upload your resume 

Info Session Dates (you must register to get the zoom link): 

Tuesday, October 8th, 12-1pm 

Wednesday, October 23rd, 12-1pm 

Thursday, November 7th, 12-1pm 

Thursday, November 7th, 6-7pm *Note, UMass students from SBS and other colleges will be sharing their experiences 

Once you have gone through the above steps, and have been accepted in the SBS applicant pool… 

-You will begin receiving internship job descriptions from the SBS Career Team as they come in. These positions are filled with Project Onramp students first, then opened up to the general public 

-You will be able to decide which internships you want to apply for 

-Our Career Team will submit your materials to Project Onramp for each position you’re interested in 

-If a company is interested in hiring you, they will contact you directly for an interview
