Still looking for a job or internship? You’re right on time.

If you haven’t landed a post-grad job yet, know that you are in good company, and that the majority of new grads find their jobs in the months following graduation. So while it would be nice to have something lined up by graduation, not being in that situation is just part of your path, and we have confidence that you will get the right thing at the right time. Lots of companies and organizations are still hiring and you and your next thing have not found each other yet.

You have access to your SBS career team for six months after graduation. If you’ve never had your resume reviewed, visit our SBS Pathways Peers to get it reviewed and tuned up before you leave campus. They will be working until the last day of classes. Need help strategizing about next steps? Schedule with an SBS career advisor via Handshake. Your access never goes away!

P.S. The Psychology Career Fair is this Friday! Check out the employers who will be recruiting and want to speak to you!

Still seeking an internship, and ready to give up?

Patience,🦗! New internships are being posted every day. Follow us on Linkedin for daily updates. Keep an eye on Handshake, and on your weekly Wednesday news email from the Pathways Center. Visit our peers in the Pathways Center (128 Thompson) to get a resume review. The Psych fair is this Friday! Click the link above to see which employers will be on campus.

Bottom line: you are right on time

Your SBS career team is here to help, with all the resources and expertise you need to get where you want to go. Come see us, and follow us in all the places!

IMPORTANT: If you don’t get an internship, summer is an excellent time to do some volunteering with a local organization that focuses on an issue you care about, or to get involved in a political campaign, or to get a job in a restaurant or at a summer camp. Use your time wisely to build the core competencies all employers are seeking!
