UWiL is an empowering leadership training and professional development program for undergraduate students at UMass who are interested in pursuing a career in public service. Students who participate in the program take part in weekly classes on topics such as imposter syndrome, public speaking, salary negotiation training, and more. Students also receive a mentor, take part in an annual two-day workshop, go on field trips to meet with elected officials and leaders in public service, and have access to scholarship funding for unpaid or low-paid internships. UWiL has a robust network of alumni and supporters who the fellows get access to connecting with and learning from! This program is a wonderful opportunity for jump-starting a student’s career. More information can also be found on our website.
UWiL’s info session is Monday, September 20 at 6pm. Students can register here.
