Post-grad law-related jobs: Tips for a successful job search
A paralegal or legal assistant position is a great way to spend a couple of years between college and law school, or while you’re still trying to figure out whether law school is the right path for you. There are many opportunities available, and Director of Pre-Law Advising Diane Curtis along with Rebecca Bell, the Director of High Impact Initiatives in the SBS Pathways Center’s Career & Professional Development Office look forward to showing you how to find these jobs and apply for them successfully. They’ll be joined by two recent UMass grads currently working as law firm paralegals — Hadiya Ahmad (Economics & Legal Studies ’26), paralegal at Morgan & Morgan, and Ashton Samkoff (Legal Studies ’26), litigation paralegal at Wilson Elser.
