The Arlington County Police Department seeks qualified entry-level and lateral-level police officer applicants to join our team of over 460 employees. We serve a diverse, urban and engaged community with an emphasis on community policing and problem solving, in support of the Department’s key initiatives: community engagement, transportation safety, and crime prevention and control.
Police Officers
- $57,179.20 – $96,782.40 Annually
- 25 Year Retirement (No Age Limit)
- Patrol Officers work a 15-day fixed shift, with two weekends off per month
- Academy training paid at full salary
60 college credits* or prior military/police experience required
