POSITION OVERVIEW
Summary/Objective
Cornerstone Government Affairs’ (Cornerstone) OpsWatch Intern Program provides a unique opportunity for selected candidates to gain first-hand experience and exposure to the federal funding landscape and the world of federal agencies. The OpsWatch service provides monitoring of federal funding opportunities across a broad and diverse set of industry sectors and continuously surveys a large net of federal opportunities; OpsWatch works with over 60 Cornerstone clients, primarily those in the nonprofit, local government, and university practice groups.
Our OpsWatch internship offers students and graduates the opportunity to become an integral part of our OpsWatch team. This internship provides experience in curating client-facing reports, performing research into forecasted, current and previous federal funding opportunities and learning how to navigate the federal funding and agency landscape.
The ideal candidate has a vested interest in federal government relations and federal funding, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to adapt and collaborate. Selected candidates will be a part of a fun, dynamic and evolving team at Cornerstone.
Cornerstone pays interns $17.95 per hour on a biweekly basis, subject to required taxes. We also work with students who would like to receive credit hours.

Full-Time Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Part-Time Hours: 25-35 hours per week
