We’re seeking editorial interns to help develop content for print and digital sides of the magazine, with an eye toward future recruitment to our core staff. Interns will work closely alongside media professionals (including Barnard alumni) to ensure that content is updated on a daily basis and reflects the message and standards of the publication. They will be responsible for reviewing and copyediting article submissions, conducting and transcribing interviews, writing articles for print and online, formatting and uploading content to our website, and attending events on an as-needed basis as representatives of the magazine. Additionally, interns will take on editorial responsibilities for our sister site Honeysuckle Girl, an educational platform geared toward the empowerment of girls and young women through the sharing of first-person experiences and creative work. These positions have great growth potential; students will receive a wide breadth of in-depth experience at an expanding media company and garner professional journalistic clips and bylines. We are also happy to structure an internship so that students may receive college credit.
