We are looking for recent college graduates looking for a long-term professional consulting career in a dynamic, flexible work environment, to join our team in our office located in the historic mountain village of Bethel, Maine. A successful candidate would be a resourceful problem solver who is eager to learn and master new subject matters and skills.
Consultants will be expected to learn and master all aspects of stock-based compensation, including plan design concepts, US and international tax and regulatory compliance requirements, and stock plan operations tasks that involve coordination with different functional areas within our corporate clients (HR, tax, payroll, benefits, legal, finance, treasury) and with their designated brokers (brokerage firms such as E*TRADE, Fidelity, Schwab, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley). As such, strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are a must.
Managing stock plan operations involves overseeing complex stock plan transactions (e.g., stock option exercise, restricted stock release) and brokerage transactions (equity trades involving the purchase, transfer and/or sale of company stock).
Consultants will receive extensive training (including training given by our brokerage partners on how to use their technology platforms to support shared clients as well as on-the-job training from the seasoned senior consultants who work for the firm).
Preference will be given to those with a background that demonstrates exceptional analytical skills, robust financial acumen, intellectual curiosity and the ability to comprehend economic, accounting, tax and legal issues.
