A Trial Court Judge, in the Housing Court Department @ Edward W. Brooke Courthouse, is looking for an upper classmates undergraduate or a law student with strong writing and editing skills, for a volunteer internship.
The minimum hourly requirement is 15 hours a week, and up to 37.5 hours a week.
- The work consists primarily in observation of court hearings, preparing summaries of exhibits and filings, and copyediting of draft opinions. The intern works under the direct supervision of the judge. Remote work situations are negotiable.
This is an ideal volunteer position for undergraduates contemplating a legal career or a career in public policy involving affordable housing or a law student who anticipates working in litigation or affordable housing.
