Applicants will have the opportunity to work on several project areas in Member Engagement. The intern will engage with over 400 community donors and gain a valuable in-depth look at fundraising within the community on several media platforms.
A strong interest in entering a position in the non-profit sector with a focus on fundraising is vital.
Students will gain experience in the following areas:
- Prospect potential new business and assist with lead generation
- Support staff at large-scale events
- Administrative support
- Direct mail projects
- Excellent research, written, and oral communication
- Stewardship efforts
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organization and time management
Strong computer skills including familiarity with Mac computers, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office; basic HTML experience is a plus. This is a part-time, 15-25 hr/wk position. Hours are flexible around students’ class schedules and there may be an oppurtunity for some remote work.
