Professional Level Internship
Summer: full-time (Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm), typically early June to early August
Fall and Spring: 2 full days (9am-4pm) per week, from 1st week of classes to before finals

- These opportunities are made available to qualified applicants by the U.S. Commercial Service in Boston.
International Market Research: Utilizing federal government databases, trade journals and internet-based market research to assist companies identify best global market prospects. Presenting findings directly to clients and partners during in-person meetings or via video conferencing.
Marketing/Promotional: Promoting overseas trade shows, export leads, seminars and other trade activities. Supporting international trade events and webinars.
Business Counseling: Directing telephone and email inquiries from exporters regarding trade requirements, regulations, documentation, country specific issues, commodity classification, etc. Attending meetings (or virtual) with local businesses to assess exporting needs and participating in international trade events.
Administrative (very small % of time): Website and newsletter management; Data entry; Generating excel spreadsheets and PowerPoints
Special Projects as assigned
