Fall 2023 Internship (Hartford)
The Office of U.S Senator Chris Murphy is currently accepting applications for Fall 2023 internships in the Hartford Office.
The Hartford office offers part-time internships (15-20 hours/week) and is seeking hard-working and detail-oriented college students with outstanding communication and time management skills. Interns will work closely with the Senator’s staff and constituents to attain a broad understanding of the interaction between citizens and their government. Interns assist the Senator’s staff with various administrative tasks, including answering phones and sorting mail, and also participate in more substantive activities, including drafting responses to constituent inquiries, conducting legislative research, attending briefings, hearings, meetings, press conferences, and other events. Interns are paid and additional scholarship funds are available during the summer session.
