Cristina earned international law degrees from Georgetown University Law Center after a few years of practicing law in Chile. She has extensive work experience in a variety of fields beyond international organizations and law, including nonprofits and education. Cristina worked at and consulted for the World Bank Group, Arnold & Porter, PwC and the Embassy of Chile. After moving to Amherst, she focused her work on international labor issues and workforce development within the non-profit sector. Before serving at UMass, Cristina developed and led a career and job placement center at a local nonprofit where she organized career fairs, led job trainings, and worked with participants of all skill levels and ages, including undergraduate and graduate students. Cristina has a strong commitment to empowering students to explore and develop their career paths by helping them apply all the personal and professional resources at their disposal. Cristina is based in Washington, D.C.
