Hi! My name is Lea and I’m a first-generation student majoring in Evolutionary Anthropology and getting a certificate in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latin Studies! I grew up in Massachusetts but my family is from Brazil, so I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish (and very poor Italian). I hope to engage with the UMass community at large to make our campus a more equitable and safe space for other BIPOC and first-generation students!
