Lindsey is the Capital Budget Director for the MA Dept. of Conservation and Recreation, where she develops and manages the financial planning and resource allocation activities for DCR’s $132.4 million capital budget.

She started her post-grad career as a Fiscal Policy Analyst and then Senior Fiscal Policy Analyst for Baker Administration’s Office of Administration & Finance, the department that
executes fiscal and administrative policies to ensure the financial stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of state government. In that role, she reviewed programs, operations, and policies, analyzed agency requests and assumptions, tracked spending, revenue and staffing, and made budget recommendations based on her independent analysis. She specifically worked for the Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs, the Office of Labor & Workforce Development, The Group Insurance Commission, and the Health Connector. Lindsey was also her office’s
Data Integrity Lead.

Prior to graduation, Lindsey held internships with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Judicial Intern in the Barnstable Superior Court, and the MA Court System in Springfield, as a Legislative/Policy Intern in the Executive Office of Housing & Economic Development, and in the Barnstable County Courthouse as a Victim Witness Advocacy Program Intern.

While at UMass, Lindsey:
