Hi! My name is Mary, and I’m a senior from Woburn, MA studying Managerial Economics. I definitely started my journey here at UMass as a super indecisive, overwhelmed Freshman not sure of what she wanted, but after taking several courses within SBS, I realized my true passion for economics! Of the several classes I’ve taken here, a gened resource economics class was what triggered my “aha” moment, and from then on, I’ve thrown myself into getting involved on campus, like being an undergraduate Teaching Assistant for ResEc162: Economics is Everywhere! I’m thrilled to be a peer advising intern this year, as I love connecting with people and helping them get excited about the future! I can’t wait to be someone who can help others navigate their struggles and formulate solutions! As an advising intern, I’m looking forward to sharpening my skills in professionalism and working on creative projects throughout the academic year. I love listening to music, cooking, and drinking lots and lots of coffee in my free time!
