Matthew graduated from UMass with a degree in Resource Economics. Matthew’s first role at Oracle was as an Enterprise Account Manager, selling Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Big Data solutions to organizations ranging from $100M to about $20Billion in Annual revenue. His role was to maintain customer relationships within these large organizations, consult with them on technological needs based on their roadmap and industry trends, and negotiate pricing for large complex sales cycles. He has worked his way up several steps of the company ladder and is currently Field Technology Sales Manager, where he manages relationships within large Oracle clients and serve as a central point of contact for any of their needs – whether that be around technology, account advice, support or upcoming purchases. I likewise manage a large internal team to ensure my clients are receiving the best services possible, and serves as the main POC between the account and all technical resources supporting the relationship – architects, solution engineers, product management, product development, Support Engineers, etc.
During his time at UMass, Matthew worked as a Sales Associate for Valley Tent Rental, and as a Bookkeeper for Worthington Assembly, Inc. He was also an IT intern for Amherst Media. While at UMass, Matthew was a member of the Outing Club, the Economics Club and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
