Stephanie Murray’18, Journalism, is the National Politics Reporter, where she covers the Trump administration and national politics for The Arizona Republic, the largest news outlet in the Southwest. She led the paper’s coverage of the historic 2024 presidential election. She is also the Author of the POLITICO Massachusetts Playbook. As a student, Stephanie completed internships with The Lowell Sun, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, and the MA State House News Service.
While at UMass, Stephanie:
– developed her political reporting skills and her passion for digital publishing at Amherst Wire
Stephanie says: I made lifelong friends at UMass and specifically at the Amherst Wire, and we all recently reunited at my wedding. Professors Kathy Roberts Forde, B.J. Roche and Karen List each made a huge impact on my career.
