Legal Career Talks

The Pre-Law Advising Office is always happy to welcome lawyer-alums to campus (or to Zoom campus) for a range of meetings with pre-law students and alums: informal get-togethers, our popular speed-networking events (“Meet the Law”), formal panels on particular areas of law or practice settings, or workshops on job prep tips (how to interview, etc.). Over the years, these have proven to be a great resource for students contemplating legal careers, and fun and productive for our lawyer-alums as well. And now that we’re all so much more comfortable with video conferencing, we look forward to including more of our alums who are too far away to make a trip back to Amherst practicable (though you’re always welcome!). If you’re an alum who is interested in connecting, please just let me know when you are planning a visit, and we will try to set something up.

Other ways to connect
The Pre-Law Advising Office is always looking for new ways to connect UMass alums and students interested in or already working in the legal profession.  If you have more ideas, please don’t hesitate to forward a suggestion.
