Your Network Tracking Tool

One of the very important aspects of your professional community-building, or networking, practice is to keep track of your efforts.

Who have you reached out to?  When?  Did they respond?  Do you owe them a response?  Etc.

It is extremely important, when building relationships, that you don’t “drop the ball” in your communications with someone you have reached out to.  This tool will help you keep track of all of those efforts, and help ensure that you haven’t left someone hanging by not being responsive.

This ensures that your professional contacts will view you as a good communicator, respectful of their time, a person with good follow-through, and someone they would like to include in THEIR OWN network.  In general, it exhibits good professional etiquette, which it exactly what you want to portray to someone who could potentially help you advance your career.
