This Thursday: Q&A with Amir Moini ’11, Employer Branding Lead, Netflix UMass Communication Alum

Join UMass Comm alum Amir Moini ’11, for this Industry Speaker online event. Go behind the scenes at Netflix and hear what it’s like to work for the innovative streaming giant. There will also be discussion about the impact of the pandemic on the entertainment industry. As an alum of our department, our guest speaker is keen to answer students’ questions and help plan their studies toward fruitful and responsible careers in digital entertainment.

Amir Moini is the employer branding lead at Netflix and author of 22 Life Lessons. Growing up in Boston and now residing in Los Angeles, Amir is also passionate about dance, film, and social media. A 2011 UMass Communication graduate, Amir was part of the first group of peer advisors in the Comm Department.

This event will be moderated by Jonathan Corpus Ong, associate professor of global digital media and instructor of COMM 121 Intro to Media and Culture.
