Whether you are an incoming first year student or a new transfer student, your SBS advising team is excited to meet you and to welcome you to your new home away from home!
You are a member of an inspiring and diverse cohort of students coming to UMass and SBS, from both here in Massachusetts and all around the world! You will develop friendships with students in your dorm, in your classes, in the clubs and organizations you join, and in your campus jobs, and we encourage you to be the light for others who might need a friend!
You have chosen to study topics where you will learn how people interact with each other and the world around them, and how and why systems work (or don’t work) the way they do. Students in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences (SBS) are change-makers and innovators, and we can’t wait for you to join our SBS community!
