Status: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30p
Grade: $15-16/hour
WORK ACTIVITIES: Answer questions and provide information to the public via telephone, front counter in-person interactions, and/or email. Perform a variety of routine clerical work including updating planning files/records and scanning documents. Assist with processing of development review applications and correspondence with the public. Assist with responding to requests for information from other departments and the public. Research and writing, including preparation of reports and graphics. Perform site visits and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree program in: Public Policy, Geography, Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or related area of study. Strong communication skills, both written and in-person are required. Experience with Microsoft word and basic computer skills are essential. Valid class C (non-commercial) driver’s license preferred.
