Student Clubs & Organizations

The SE Club aims to educate UMass students on the ins and outs of social entrepreneurship.

The UMass Social Entrepreneurship Club is a community of students who are motivated to make a socially responsible impact in the business world. As part of the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship, the SE Club provides an environment for students to network, enhance business skills, brainstorm startup ideas, and learn about the social issues prevalent in the business industry today. We strive to educate, inspire, and support the student body through organizing speaker series, workshops, and networking events that portray making a positive impact through the business world.
Social Entrepreneurship is the idea of pursuing business ventures that have the potential to solve community based problems. A social entrepreneur measures their success not only in profits, but also in the positive impact they make on their community. To learn more about social enterprises in our community, visit our “Features” page.
