Dorothy is currently studying Political Science and Psychology with an interest in Foreign Affairs. One of her hopes is to take her life experience as an immigrant to aid in creating paths for new citizens and being an example of a family who was able to make a life for themselves and cross the world despite its many challenges. Before her time at UMass, she was an active performer, competing as a violinist, actor, and dancer. She now enjoys being a patron of the arts, attending performances of all types – particularly enjoying her Boston Ballet membership and taking trips to NYC for Broadway performances. She still enjoys performing which now takes the form of the UMass Ballroom Dance team.
