Jennifer Grayson is Child Welfare Program Specialist at U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Washington, DC.  At the Children’s Bureau, she is responsible for developing federal policies, guidelines and regulations on matters related to child welfare, including child abuse and neglect, child protective services, adoption, and foster care. She also provides assistance to states on implementation of federal child welfare programs.  Jennifer has a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University, and has worked on domestic policy issues at nonprofit organizations including the National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators (NAPCWA) and the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund and have spent time working on Capitol Hill.   While at UMass, Jennifer studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
