Jole Laguda’23 was a double major with Political Science and BDIC (Bachelor’s Degree with Individual Concentration).  Her first job post-UMass is as a Bilingual Educator in her local elementary school.  In this role, she instructs English Language learners in Spanish and English to develop academic proficiency in both languages.  While she was at UMass, Jole studied abroad in Chile, Ecuador, and Taiwan. She was also a member of the 2022 SBS in DC program cohort, and interns with the International Language Institute in Washington, DC.  And, she was involved in Model United Nations, and Leading Women of Tomorrow.
