Linkedin is an important tool for you in your professional networking and job search tool kits.  Make a profile that includes all of your job and internship experience, your volunteering, and your student orgs and leadership experience. Include a profile picture that shows you in work/office/professional attire, and start connecting with people you know – your friends, your family, your family’s friends, your friends’ families, your professors, your coaches, your supervisors, your staff, alumni you know.  Follow companies and organizations you are interested in.  Search for jobs and internships posted by employers.  Here’s how you get started.  You can also attend a Linkedin workshop on campus, which you can find in the events section of Handshake.
